With the new Marketplace prices setting, you define per user which price they pay for leads of a specific lead type in the marketplace. If no individual price is stored, the default buyer price of the lead type automatically applies.
Detailed instructions
Individual marketplace prices are suitable, for example, for special conditions for individual customers or for trial phases with discounted prices. The setting affects purchases in the marketplace only.
Requirement: You need administrator permissions in your system. Only active lead types that are released for the marketplace are displayed.
- Navigate to Users and open the User settings of the desired user.
- Select the Marketplace prices tab in the left-hand menu.
- You will see a table of all marketplace lead types with ID, short code, name and the respective default price.
- Enter the desired amount in the Individual price column. You can use the search field to filter by ID, name or short code.
- Leave the field empty if the default price should apply for this lead type.
- Click Save.
From now on, the user sees the individual price in the lead overview and in the purchase dialogue in the marketplace. This price is charged on purchase.
Further frequently asked questions
What happens if I do not store an individual price?
Then the default buyer price of the lead type applies. You therefore only need to fill in the lead types for which a deviation is desired.
How do I remove an individual price again?
Delete the amount in the Individual price field and click Save. The default price then applies again for this lead type.
Does the individual price also apply to orders or manual assignments?
No. The individual price is applied only to purchases in the marketplace. For orders, the order price continues to apply; for manual assignments, the price entered there.
Does the individual price affect the credit account and the supplier commission?
Yes. On purchase, the individual price is charged to the buyer and, for credit accounts, checked against the available credit. Percentage-based supplier commissions are calculated on the basis of the price actually charged.
Why is a lead type not shown in the list?
Only active lead types that are enabled for the marketplace appear. Check in the lead type settings whether the marketplace option is activated.
Where can I see whether individual prices are stored for a user?
In the user overview, the entry Marketplace prices with the number of stored prices is shown among the user's customisations. Clicking on it takes you directly to the tab.
