Short answer

In the system settings, you can define an individual time zone for your system. This setting affects all date and time displays in Leadnodes, including reports, lead creation times and order resets.

Detailed guide

The time zone determines how date and time are displayed in your system. By default, the time zone is determined automatically based on your configured country. However, you can override it individually.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Navigate to Settings → System
  2. Scroll to the System time zone section
  3. Select a time zone from the dropdown list or leave the setting at “Inherit from country” for automatic detection
  4. The currently active time zone is displayed below the dropdown
  5. Click Save

Available time zones

More than 30 time zones worldwide are available, including:

  • Europe: Berlin, Vienna, Zurich, Paris, London, Amsterdam and more
  • America: New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, São Paulo
  • Asia/Pacific: Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney

Further frequently asked questions

What happens if I don’t select a time zone?

If you do not explicitly set a time zone, the time zone of the country stored in the system settings is used automatically. For a German system, for example, “Europe/Berlin” (CET/CEST) is used automatically.

Which areas are affected by the time zone setting?

The time zone setting affects the following areas:

  • All date and time displays in the system
  • Lead creation times and reports
  • Automatic order resets (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Lead delivery reports
  • Invoice creation
  • API responses with timestamps

Can I change the time zone at any time?

Yes, you can change the time zone at any time in the system settings. The change takes effect immediately. Please note, however, that data already saved is not adjusted retroactively – only the display of future timestamps changes.

What does the “Inherit from country” option mean?

This option automatically uses the default time zone of the country configured in your system settings. This is the recommended setting for most users, as it automatically selects the correct time zone based on your location.
