Quick answer
Assign one or more user groups to your lead order as multi-sale groups. If a member of one of these groups has already received a copy of a multi-sale lead, the order is automatically skipped for further copies of this lead.
Detailed guide
This function prevents multiple users from the same company or team receiving the same multi-sale lead. It is particularly useful when several of your colleagues are active with their own orders and duplicate deliveries should be avoided.
Requirement: The lead type of the order must be configured as multi-sale. Otherwise, the section is not displayed.
- Navigate to Orders and open the desired order.
- Scroll to the Multi-sale groups section.
- In the Select group… dropdown, select the desired user group.
- Click Add. The group then appears as a blue label with the number of members.
- Repeat the steps to assign further groups.
- To remove a group, click the × icon next to the group name.
- Save the order.
From this point on, before every lead delivery, a check is made as to whether a member of an assigned group has already received the lead. If so, the order is skipped for this copy.
Further frequently asked questions
When is an order excluded by this function?
An order is skipped as soon as a user from one of the assigned groups has already received a copy of the same multi-sale lead. The lead group is decisive (i.e. all copies of the same original lead).
What happens if I assign several groups?
The check uses OR logic: as soon as a member in one of the assigned groups has already been supplied, the order is skipped. You therefore do not have to combine all groups and can assign teams separately.
Why can’t I see the Multi-sale groups section?
The section is only visible if the lead type of the order is configured as multi-sale. For single-sale lead types, the function is not relevant and is therefore hidden. Switch the lead type to a multi-sale type to show the section.
Can I combine this function with the existing multi-sale delay?
Yes. The multi-sale delay (waiting time between copies) and the multi-sale groups are independent of each other and can be used in parallel.
What happens if I add or remove users from an assigned group?
The check takes place at the time of each lead delivery. Changes to group membership take effect immediately for all future deliveries. Deliveries that have already taken place remain unchanged.
Are orders from other users also taken into account?
Yes. As soon as a member of an assigned group has received a copy of the lead – regardless of which order it came through – the group is considered “supplied” and your order is skipped.
