Further frequently asked questions
Why can't I undo an assignment?
If an invoice has already been created for the lead, the assignment can no longer be undone. You will then see the message: “Assignment cannot be undone: an associated receipt has already been billed. Please create a refund.” In this case, create a refund instead.
Who is allowed to undo assignments?
Only users with the System administrator role can undo lead assignments. Other users do not see the corresponding button and receive an error message (HTTP 403) when calling the function.
Is a refund created automatically when an assignment is undone?
No. A refund is not triggered automatically. Instead, receipts that have not yet been billed are deleted directly. If an invoice has already been created, you must create the refund manually.
What happens to faulty leads in the bulk action?
Leads whose assignment cannot be undone (e.g. because they have already been billed) are skipped during bulk processing. The remaining leads are processed normally. Skipped leads are recorded in the log with the note “Undo skipped: [reason]”.
Can I restore an undone assignment?
No, an undone assignment cannot be restored directly. However, after the assignment has been undone, the lead is available again with the status “New” and can be assigned again, provided matching orders exist.
Is the order counter updated correctly after undoing?
Yes. When the assignment is undone, the “total delivered” and “delivered today” counters of the associated order are automatically reduced by one, so that the order can search for matching leads again.
