Short answer

With the new “Exclusive order” option, you can ensure that a lead is not resold after being assigned to an exclusive order – even if the lead type actually allows multiple sales (multi-sale).

Detailed guide

What is an exclusive order?

In Leadnodes, lead types can be configured as multi-sale, so that a lead can be assigned multiple times to different buyers. With the new “Exclusive order” option, you can specifically prevent this multiple assignment: if a lead is assigned to an exclusive order, it is marked as exclusive and blocked for all further sales.

How do I activate exclusivity for an order?

  1. Navigate to System → Lead orders.
  2. Create a new order or edit an existing one.
  3. Select a lead type with multi-sale enabled.
  4. The new “Exclusive order” toggle appears below the order options.
  5. Activate the toggle. The label reads: “Prevents further multiple sales after assignment.”
  6. Save the order.

How does exclusivity work technically?

  • When a lead is assigned to an exclusive order, all leads in the same group are marked as exclusive.
  • Exclusive leads are skipped during multi-sale duplication – no copies are created for further orders.
  • Exclusive orders are only matched with leads that have no previous assignment in their group.

Further frequently asked questions

Is the “Exclusive order” toggle always displayed?

No. The toggle only appears if the selected lead type has the multi-sale option enabled. For lead types without multi-sale, exclusivity is not relevant, as a lead is only assigned once anyway.

What happens if an exclusive and a non-exclusive order match the same lead?

If an exclusive order is among the matching orders, the multi-sale logic is skipped entirely. The lead is assigned only once and is not duplicated for further buyers.

Can a lead that has already been assigned be made exclusive afterwards?

Exclusivity is set automatically at the time of assignment. Manual editing afterwards is not provided for. As soon as a lead is assigned to an exclusive order, the exclusive status applies to the entire lead group.

Can exclusive leads still be subject to complaints?

Yes. Exclusivity only affects multiple assignment. Complaints (refunds) work as usual and are not affected by the exclusivity setting.

What is the difference between “no multi-sale” and “exclusive order”?

With a lead type without multi-sale, no lead is ever sold more than once. With a lead type with multi-sale and an exclusive order, multiple sales are only prevented for leads that are assigned to an exclusive order. Other orders of the same lead type can continue to use multi-sale.
